About this event
This interactive workshop addresses a critical challenge facing modern organizations: managing complex technical information across fragmented systems and silos. Integrates ISO 19650 (information management processes) with ISO 15926/CFIHOS (data standards and interoperability)—participants will learn how to develop cohesive information governance strategies that bridge the gap between project delivery and long-term asset operations.
The Problem:
Despite advances in AI and digital technology, managing technical documentation for complex industrial assets remains fragmented. Organizations struggle with knowledge transfer failures, inconsistent data standards, and information handover breakdowns that create operational risks, increase maintenance costs, and limit digital twin effectiveness.
The Solution:
This workshop combines theoretical frameworks with real-world problem-solving to demonstrate how ISO standards provide the "rules" (ISO 19650) and "vocabulary" (ISO 15926/CFIHOS) needed to create enterprise information systems that deliver the right information to the right people at the right time—from design through operations.
